The book grabbed me from the start and it was intriguing reading about how grief affected the family and relationship between the sisters. The graphic descriptions of what happened to the kidnapped murdered women was a bit too much for me. That’s why I rated it a 4 instead. I would say this was a thriller/horror story.

Immediate 5 ⭐️ This is a dark book but genuinely had everything you needed from a thriller! Even though this was a long book I felt that it kept you gripped throughout and whilst it was clear what the outcome for one of the characters was it went on a journey for the other characters and i genuinely connected with them
I didn’t really enjoy this one, though it was certainly easy enough to read. The whole book is graphic and quite brutal, but there is one particular part at the end (the injured knee infliction) that just did me in.
