Mind-blown! This book is very thought out with the details of the story. Amazing writing. Definetly, a hard book to read given the context and the gruesome things unfolding as the story progress. Look at the trigger warnings.  Two sisters coming together and are discovering the truth of her sister disappearance from years ago takes a big toll on the family. What they find out is insane. I really enjoyed this book. I’m so glad the characters (sisters) were able to come together once again and be there for each other! Such a good read.

This book is DARK. It’s way darker than other thriller books I’ve read but the story was so gripping and once it got going I couldn’t put it down.

This is so hard to read but it’s so good. The gruesome details that are painted are a bit much and I did lowkey have to skip over some bits
because it’s about snuff films like let’s be real.
.
My first Karin slaughter book and she just pulls you in right away. This was published in 2015 but reading it 10yrs later with the nonstop Tesla talk and almost like product placement in the book was a HARD hurdle to get over lol. 
I knew right away what direction the book was going, and I think that’s clear to whoever reads it, but even knowing what’s going to happen, it’s still shocking and you are still immersed in the story.
