My first Karin Slaughter and I disliked it. It was boring, no character development what so ever, half of the plots was irrelevant. No suspense, nothing. 2 stars

This was okay. To be honest, I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous two books. The first chapter was very exciting but after that there was a lull, in my opinion, for the remainder of the book and the story just didn't grab me, really. I found Lena to be overly annoying and her chapters were a struggle to get through. And ugh, I hope we don't see any more of Ethan because he was just as irritating >_<
I did, however, really like that little twist at the end!

LOTS OF TRIGGER WARNINGS!!
Good book; I enjoyed this enstallment of the Grant County series. Not as great as Kisscut, I felt it didn't have as much depth but there was a lot of character and relationship development which I appreciated and think is valuable in the long-run for the series. This book really focused on Lena's unravelling and the fallout of the previous books which was at times difficult to read; it hurts to see her hurting and self-destructing (Karin Slaughter really makes me care about EVERYONE).
THAT FINAL PAGE THOUGH!
