Asher
In the beginning Lucy behaved like a teenager instead of a twenty year old college student. Halfway in the character seemed to change. All in all it was ok

***SPOILERS***
I first found out about this series after reading "Devious Lies" (WHICH I LOVE) and decided to give "Asher Black" a try. I wasn't disappointed. I loved that Asher treated Lucy with fairness and didn't force anything on her. My fear with most books that end up with a dominant male is that they disregard the female protag's wishes and best interests for their selfish gain. I was having a hard time not to fall in love with Asher, he was lovely.
The story had some twists and turns but it mainly stayed simple. I wish that there were a couple of climaxes throughout the book rather than all shoved to the end. The moment when Steve walks back into Lucy's life, I wish it had been somewhere in the 2/3 of the book. I wish that we got a scene between Lucy and Asher of her telling him her real name and maybe even going into her past some more.
Overall, a really good book with a wonderful tension between the two characters. I love Ms. Huntington's style of writing and I am hooked.

Very well written!
This flows so well it’s like your watching it happen. The female lead is smart and behave as she should which made this a great read. No backing down or simpering!! The male lead was strong, ruthless but chivalrous and tender. Loved it !!

eu gostei demais da escrita do que da história em si. muito clichê
Parker S Huntington has written and amazing story and the narration by Lacy Lauren just made it that much better! This is not your typical mafia romance book. It has some tension and angst in the beginning but with a few times that you will giggle yourself silly. You can see the way this relationship grows from beginning to end with no parts skipped. I love the way it started, the way it continued and the way it ended. There is no part in this book that is not loved and you will not regret getting this audiobook to listen to. I myself can’t wait for the next!
3.5⭐️
Good plot and the main characters have ✨character✨, but it felt like everything was so quick. Even though the story spans several months.
And the ending! How could it end like that? I want to know if they continued the fake relationship thing or if he actually proposed to her later.
