I really enjoyed this dark mafia romance read. Eliana and Apollo really made this read with their own tortured pasts keeping them from fully connecting before they shared everything with each other. The spice within was ok, but it could have been better and a little more. Probably like a 3 chilli rating for spice. I loved that Eliana stuck to her guns on her belief and her desire to continue working as a lawyer. She was doing such important work helping women get away from bad situation. It made me giddy when Apollo surprised her with a new office so she could start her own law firm.
