The plot of this book had so much potential, but it was just so badly written that it can’t be overlooked. I wish I had a penny for every time Eliana or Apollo was written and I reckon I’d can quit my job.

I rarely give 1 star reviews. This was so terrible. The grammar was bad, the lack of commas was bad and everyone constantly saying each others names was distracting. And the story didn’t make any sense this was all so so so bad and and the spice was both lacking, out of the blue, and I’m not convinced the author has ever had an orgasm from a sexual partner before. It was like someone described to her what sex was and she wrote it based solely on that.

a lot of deus ex-machina moments. repetitive back and forth behavior, where characters do stuff for the sake of elongating page count. could’ve been shorter and more substantial. the turning point in the relationship wasn’t captured well, one chapter they hate each other, the next the tryst and live? when did that happen? also their behavior seemed very childish

I loved it! I give it a 4.5 overall, rounded up to a 5 for the stars.
It was a great plot, I loved the characters, got me invested in the story and not just the relationships, and not to mention how badass Eliana was! It lost .5pt on the flow being a touch dry or confusing (near the end really was a little confusing, still pretty easy to follow though).
I've reread this already! About a month or so since I finished the first time and couldn't help myself but to read it again. I can't wait for the next one, I'm so invested!
