I loved this compilation of quotes and art work! Some really inspirational stuff in here...and also a quick no fuss read.

I didn't cry my eyes out while reading this, I don't care what anyone says.

I've seen these books floating around for awhile now, but never bothered to really look into what they were about. At the same time, I'd seen beautiful art drawn to showcase some gorgeous quotes (most notably, his drawing of Gaiman's Make Good Art speech which always makes me smile and touches a part of my soul.) I never looked twice at who the artist was, never thought to wonder if they had their own website with a collection of their art.

And then I opened this book, got all emotional, stumbled across this art, and wanted very much to slap myself across the face.

Most of these quotes are truly wonderful and inspirational on their own, but when you pair them with art that is so moving and touching, simple but beautiful?

Ugh, my tear ducts hated this.

Great book to read when you are feeling down. The quotes in this volume can lift your spirits and make you realize that there is more to life than running the rat race. Loved all the quotes and will revisit them whenever I feel down.

Totally awesome for a middle school library. What Than has done with this compilation could inspire IB Community Projects.

I liked the art in the book. I'd come across some of it before and it was interesting to see it all together in a single volume. But the majority of the motivational quotes aren't really inspiring for me, accompanied with art or not.

I am a fan of the website so when I read about the book, I knew I had to have it. I'm so happy it's available locally. It contained most of my favorites but I just wish it contained more (especially the one with Isaac Asimov's A Lifetime of Learning), although I know it's not the book's or the author's fault. I love the marriage of art and words; it's inspiration times two. If you're looking for a great gift for your family and friends this would be a great recommendation. I'm looking forward to the next volumes that would hopefully contain the rest of my favorites.

Quotes were fairly normal inspirational quotes, but the very thought-out comics to go with them really made this so much cooler and easier to get into.
