Get ready for a page turner

TR Ragan grabs your attention right from the start and keeps you turning pages to find out the what happens next. Great suspense.

For an easy summer read, this book was perfect. It's not complicated and does weave a pretty exciting story. I would definitely recommend this and will be reading the second book in the series.

Would’ve liked to know why Lizzy’s dad hated her so much. Also didn’t like the Lizzy didn’t tell her sister about the cheating husband right away
dark tense fast-paced

This books was super spooky and a bit predictable. But I must say coming from someone who doesn't care for scary stuff this book was interesting. It held my attention and was well written. So I give this book 4.7 stars

While this book was pretty interesting, I didn't love it. The audiobook just helped pass time at work. I think perhaps actually reading may have been a bit better, but honestly, not much.

This book had so many characters, I didn't even care for ((most)) them. There were a few points where I said "Who the f*ck is *insert sudden random name*"
I did like Lizzie, but she was far too stubborn, and often acted in the now, just to regret later.
I hated the name they gave our killer, they really couldn't think of something else?
This book was interesting to see from the killer POV sometimes.
I really did like the ending though. A lot. TAKE THAT A-HOLE!!

I can see that this is a book that has divided opinion well and truly, with some people loving it and others hating it. I'm certainly on the favourable side as i found this to be a tightly written and tense crime thriller. Deeply disturbing at points, this kept my attention from the very first page to the finale. I had seen where the finale was going but still didn't quite anticipate the final twists.

I found the characters quite interesting although the obvious love interest weakens it slightly. Other than a few odd moments though, this doesn't detract from the main narrative. I enjoyed the use of multiple perspectives to carry the narrative, particularly Hayley. A couple of characters only get single short interludes from their eyes like Jimmy which seemed a shame.

All in all though, I really enjoyed this and think the author has real talent.
