This seemed to be the book that would never end, I think it took me 6 months to finish. It seems I read 100 pages without anything happening, just more traveling down the road. I like King but this is definitely my least favorite of his.

An epic story that, even though it drags on a bit too long in the middle, kept me riveted all the way through.

I used to read a lot of Stephen king in my youth, had moved on now as not a massive king fan as I think he says in 10 pages what others can say in 2. However the stand is one of my favourite books of all time, coming in at number 2. Can only be described as a classic.
