A really fun read that I got through faster than anticipated!
I have no knowledge in science whatsoever and my math is catastrophic, but I could still understand much of what was talked about thanks to the explanations to every question. The author made sure anyone could understand what was talked about which I was grateful for. The illustration brought much to the book and made sure it wasn’t just page upon page of written information and explanation.
Although something I have to mention is that many of these questions come from people interested in science, meaning that the questions themselves are pretty complex and things most people would never have thought about (at least not me). The only questions included that I’ve heard about before are “what would happen if every human jumped at the same time?” and “what if the sun disappeared?”. The more complex questions included “if every person on earth aimed a laser pointer at the moon at the same time, would it change color?” and “what would happen if you gathered a mole or moles in one place” and “how long could a nuclear submarine last in orbit?”. Although I didn’t find every question as interesting as others I still read through them all and found enjoyment in it.
Also, was I the only person who found the “weird (and worrying) questions from the what if? inbox” more interesting than the question actually included?
