2.5 stars really....like the message, but the colors are horrible...good story for 0-4 years old though, I would say...but man, his family are douchebags. Encourage the kid with his hopes and dreams of having a freakin carrot!

I love this book, both for myself as an adult and for my children and others. Perseverance pays off...especially when it is done with love and care.

I don't get it. Why is everyone telling him it won't come up? You plant a seed, it grows. That's just how it works. I don't get it.

Super cute book about a boy who plants a seed. Everyone tells him it won't grow, but proves them all wrong, in a very big way

Yeah whatever. It's not that this is a bad book. There just isn't that much here. Not in the text and not in the art. It definitely feels like an old book, which it is.

Adorable

Kind of so-so for me... I guess it's overall a story of faith in yourself. I like the illustrative style.
