What an incredible end to this trilogy. All plot lines and character arcs are concluded in the most satisfying way imaginable - there were things I didn't even realize I wanted that fit so perfectly in the narrative I can't imagine the story being complete without them now. I do not have a single complaint about this book, and loved returning to threads and people I thought were finished up in the previous books or the beginning of this one. Tolkien honestly delivered this conclusion (and the entire trilogy) so well that I found myself stuck between wanting to read as fast as possible to find out what happens and forcing myself to set the book down to prolong the inevitable end. I will absolutely be re-reading these sometime in the future, and this world quickly finds itself on the list of my all time favorites. I am only upset that I will never get to experience the first time reading these again.
