this is the kind of book that changes your life. it’s absolutely harrowing and heartbreaking and yet there’s so much community and hope woven throughout the story. a beautiful novel that never shies away from the transphobia and lesbophobia topics it explores and the intersections of gender and class that can make up a persons identity
