Not my favorite of the series, but I did enjoy the series. I felt like a bunch of information was getting thrown at us, so it took me a while to catchup because I kept losing track of characters, both older and newly introduced. This does help move the overall plot along, but there's just a lot. I thought the relationship between the two characters was cute, especially the very end after a pretty important event.

the plot twist!!! had an inkling but i was still pleasantly surprised, and tbh im glad cause i wasn't really feeling the whole syndicate thing in the last book and if that happened in this as well i would've completely lost interest in that storyline.
also the grumpy x sunshine trope was done so so well here. i feel like the way zephyr pursued alpha at first could have easily come off as pushy but because of good writing and how well it was written, it didnt. i loved and enjoyed alpha's character so much, but zephyr....oh zephyr my lovable and good and amazing little ray of sunshine

I LOVE ALPHA AND ZEPHYR OHMYGOD NEED HER CONFIDENCE SO SO BAD😭 AND DANTE IS SUCH A CUTE DAD!!!! very much disappointed qith the epilogue, wanted to throw my phone away😄.

It felt very insta-lovey.
So, first of all, our fmc, Zephyr (yes, that's her name) had no spine at all, and her supposedly 'bold' moves just ended up giving me secondhand embarrassment. She literally jumped over and kissed him in the first chapter. And no, not in an accidental 'The Love Hypothesis' way. No. He was her first love, and seeing him again just made her all eMoTiOnAl. If impulsive was a person, it would be her. Because did she even think twice before doing anything? Nope. At least I'm glad she finally realized she was being dumb and pulled away, but still, our mmc, Alpha, (yes, that's again his name

i’m still in shock about what happened in the last few pages. i honestly didn’t expect it and i’m still trying to connect everything.
this plot is so well played out and each time i finish a book in this series i’m still left with so many questions at the end.
the couple in this book? won my heart immediately, especially zephyr, she was so refreshing to read about. her personality was unique, she never held back and she was so strong and persistent. alpha, with all his denial and grumpiness, won my heart too. i loved them together, and i can’t stress this enough.
the other character appearances in this book were some of my favourite parts, it was so nice to read about my favourite book couples again and how they blended into the lives of zephyr and alpha.
from what i’ve heard so far i’m definitely in for a tough ride with the annihilator but i’m too curious to resist starting it immediately.
this plot is so well played out and each time i finish a book in this series i’m still left with so many questions at the end.

It honestly was not bad, mara the 3rd person narration was a bit confusing.
Zypher I loved xem 🫵🏾😂😆 focused queen. Even though She broke her own heart sometimes.
The book was not as exciting as it should considering all the twists and turns, this entire series honestly.
Loved Seeing the girls getting to know each other mara Zenith hle 😭😭😭😭😭
Hector being the killer was not as shocking as I wanted it to be, what annoyes me is I was Shipping him with Zenith💀🙄
