Peter Kavinsky forever ❤️❤️

I had an extremely hard time getting into this book and it took me almost a month to read it which is CRAZY! The plot was slow moving and the characters were predictable. I am a fan of some of the relationships and I want to see how those continue so I think I am gonna pick up the second book even though this one was brutal to get through. There is nothing wrong with the style of writing, honestly the plot is just mundane.

Oh man, I thought people were exaggerating when they said Lara Jean was very immature and young-sounding. I cringed so hard whenever she or her sisters called Josh 'Joshy' and their mom 'Mommy'. I just couldn't.

This was just plain bad. The writing was not good, Lara Jean was an excruciating narrator and so much of the drama and conflict was unnecessary. While reading it, I could see the potential that this book had to actually be funny, light-hearted but with some emotional weight to it. Not so. Just badly written romantic drama that was way more complicated than it needed to be.

I did have to laugh when Lara Jean saw Josh working at the bookstore shelving books in the 'non-fiction' section. As a bookseller, one of the most irritating questions you can be asked is, "Where is your non-fiction section?"

I adored this sweet family of the song girls and love, friendship, family, and friends.
I highly recommend this book because of its soul and heart, plus its humor, and message to start living life.
I really loved Peter and Lara Jean together, and I enjoyed all their scenes, banter, and adventures.
I enjoyed the scenes with Kitty, and the scenes with Margot. I loved all of this books, and it was a really quick read and I can't wait to start the second one.

I needed an easy right before bed audiobook listen and I think I'd rate this as 5 stars if I were in high school still.

This book is so CUTE!!! The characters are engaging and the story is not as predictable as I thought it would be. Teenage drama that takes you through all the emotions. YA Romance / Comedy at its finest. I will definitely be reading the other two books.

I watched all the movies and XO Kitty first on Netflix. I fell in love with the story and the characters which prompted me to read the books :-)

such a fun book. i’m a HUGE fan of the movies so im super glad i finally got my hands on a copy. i love how laura jean + margot’s relationship is told. i hate super smutty books so this book was such a breath of fresh air. you don’t need half your book to be sexy for it to still be romantic!! i also love the vibes this book gives me.
