In a nutshell, this book was the literary equivalent of a popcorn flick! The characters rocked the stage, and the writing was chef's kiss. The multiple POVs were like a storytelling sundae, and the backstory reeled me in. But alas, it missed the jackpot on my thrill-o-meter, landing squarely in the "meh" zone when all was said and done.
