started but didn’t get far. the narration jumps to characters without rhyme or reason. the story jumps from time to time and tells so much of what the characters feel without letting the reader experience the feelings.

A beautiful Gothic tale, set in late 1800s England. In a beautiful glass greenhouse, live two men separated from society because of their love for each other, and their work. It is this work of being a botanist and a taxidermist. That leads through twists and turns a wonderful reimagining of Frankenstein.

The writing is (though sometimes a little excessively wordy) beautiful and the setting is fantastic. The concept was great but I found that the characters were inconsistent. People's opinions and beliefs kept switching with each other and I had trouble understanding what they actually thought and felt.
