Overall enjoyed this book, loved the creative concept and the execution was good, I'm not often invested in a male MC! that being said, there were a few plot holes...
how did no one recognise Evelyn as Madeline? Did Michael not recognise her? and it feels like she came out of nowhere, she didn't have much of a major role in the majority of the book, it felt abrupt how she was so crucial to the end!

I thought the concept was really interesting and the weaving of the stories was quite successful. I didn’t love the way he described being in Ravencourt’s body. He had other hateful characters but he felt particularly vitriolic and fatphobic. I also felt like there were no specifics on why Anna was supposed to be bad. The ending was kind of confusing and anticlimactic.

Interesting. Well written enough. Confusing at times, withholding from the reader on certain important things which I didn’t love. But overall unexpected twists were good but the ending was meh. Characters sounded the same as each other after a while. Not a lot of positivity

The only reason this is not just one star is because the plot had an interesting premise. I spent most of this book thinking “how is there (insert any number here) hours left???”.
