Read this as research for mystery book I am writing. I like the interaction of the characters and the weaving plots but I did not finish. The style was too heavy and I was brought invited to be invested in most of what was happening.

This book was the most compelling book I’ve read in a while. But the ending has me scratching my head a bit. On the whole, worth the read.

For myriad reasons I wasn’t able to read this book as quickly as I wanted. This was maddening! I wanted to sit down and lose myself in the mystery of it and immerse myself in the world of Blackheath. An excellent mystery full of twists and surprises and in thee it was a far more complicated and satisfying an ending than I ever could have predicted. Buy this book!
