He has some interesting insights into what make men tick, but I could do without the religious overtones.

I started this book years ago and just now getting to finish the book and times have definitely changed from when this book came out that some of the advice is not applicable anymore. But there is some gems to take away regarding a woman wants and needs and that’s it.
I listened to the audiobook. It was interesting. Many things we, as women, already knew but I still learned a lot about how men think. I believe the concepts may be applicable to any men. however, his views are a bit old and can definitely be triggering for many feminists, or modern day empowered females. So definitely go in with an open mind an remember that his opinions are just opinions, and doesnt mean it is applicable to all men or is the one way or the truth. I'm curious what men think. Is this an accurate portrayal?
This book was written by an old but I´m a nice guy type of boy. Absolutely disgusting. I feel bad for the women who think this is an excellent way to head into relationships: being the shame of wanting love and always having to agree to sex because he can and will get it from someone else.
I almost feel bad for men having to be in this type of spotlight, it's really degrading for women and men to have this type of representation out there.
I´m waaay too young to be a mother or even want kids so i don´t feel comfortable discussing that part of the book because i know nothing, but please beautiful women don´t take these pages written by a man who has no problem with his married friends cheating on their wives. It shows their character, they don´t give a shit about us other than sex.
Don´t even start when he blames the wife because his husband was a mommy´s boy= part of emotional incest. You men need help, therapy even, but don´t go blaming the other victims (wives) of that type of mothers in law.
I think my respect for this man changed in this whole paragraph alone. One of his buddies (in my head they are the typical locker-football players-misogynistic gay, because you can´t hate women that much and enjoy anal that much too) was cheating on his wive, she found out and left him with his son. So what do they do? This is what they do...
¨We even offered to take him to see the woman he had on the side, in hopes that at least getting some from her would make him feel a little bit better, but he refused her, too.¨
I laughed so hard one time only because in the hypothetical case that all women disappear they wouldn´t get laundry done and then... wait for it.... they will pass the time around going to the strip club........ Who are you going to see strip? MEN?!?!?!. that's gay dude. Or maybe Steve Harvey doesn´t see sex workers as women at all, just the other thing that's not part of his family or even his side chick.
Also... i think this was a little too much religion orientated. If that's on your priorities great, but as time changes not everyone needs a god to act accordingly and be loyal (his words not mine).
CONCLUSION: if you want to end up losing hope in every man on this planet with just hearing his little boy friends talk about the women they married like they are trash, read this book go ahead. If you are struggling with relationships please I advise you to go talk with your maneater girlfriend who would give you some really good advice.
This book is garbage, I wish you all the best (except for this fucking group of friends and their wives a divorce) I´m out.

every woman NEEDS this book
You have to read the words on the page & the words that are NOT on the page when reading this novel. There is something to learn, but there's a lot of foolishness in it all. Keep that in mind if you decide to read this book.
such an amazing book. Even though i will not be using some of the advice he gives for a couple of years regardless i love the book and would recommend it to others whether the are in a relationship or not. Its always a plus to educate yourself in all areas of life and this book is such an easy read that everyone would pick it up and educate themselves!.
Honestly I only read this book because I liked the movie.... Long story short, the movie's better.
