There was just way too much ridiculousness in this book for me. Trying to kill each other for taking the last piece of bread kind of crazy. Not a fan.

Ruthless Princess is a mafia love story, two children from mafia families that aren't supposed to even like each other fall in love. The story is well written that you're halfway through the book without even realizing time has passed by. The story just draws you in and you're constantly routing for the H and h wanting them to have their HEA, even knowing the book will end that way, you don't know how they will get there. RVD writes so well that you too will be drawn into Junior and Serena's story
Wow...just wow. You are not ready for this book...you think you are...but you are not!! I have been a fan of Rachel's mafia since EE. This spin off stand alone is absolutely EVERYTHING! I never thought I would love couple more than Nixon and Trace, but then Serena and Junior came on the scene and oh my goodness.
This friends to lovers to enemies mafia royalty is an absolute wild ride. Serena is a bomb b*tch ruthless princess and Junior is her King, her protector, the dark to her light. You will laugh, you will cry, you will probably think about throwing your kindle/book, you will fall in love.

**Received an ARC for an honest review** Wow. This book. Rip my heart out, ALL. THE. FEELS. RVD brings us back into her mafia family world with the 2nd generation, introducing us to Serena and Junior and their ruthless, devastating, and downright smokin hot romance. We also meet the other mafia generation 2.0 and have cameo's from the original Eagle Elite. But make not mistakes, this ain't there parent's mafia anymore. This generation makes it very clear that this generation is their story, their's alone with maybe a little parent meddling of course. Their stories are going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride if Serena and Junior are any indication, with the level of heart bleed in this book. I couldn't put it down, and now I need more from this generation of mafia.

My heart went out to both Serena and Junior. Sure, they may have been actual mafia royalty, but that meant a whole lot more pressure and the kind of expectation that regular people couldn't possibly fathom. Everything happens for a reason, and that was certainly the case when it came to these two, but then when something is worth fighting for, you need to be able to get your head--and heart!--on straight and make painful choices. I was on the edge of my seat for so much of Ruthless Princess, and by the time I was done, I had a five-starred Mafia Royals hangover. Book two next! ♥

The Eagle Elite, as I am sure I have said before, is absolutely one of my top favorite series of all time. I have reread them multiple times and I love each and everyone of those characters. Rachel as just upped the bar even higher with these new series in the Eagle Elite world.
I am seriously in love with these characters. I knew from reading the prequel that Serena and Junior were going to break my heart and I was not wrong. This book left me gutted and reeling through a lot of the story. I loved every minute of it though and felt every emotion. It was intense and emotional. It had moments of fun and heart. It had everything and it was perfectly balanced.
Rachel Van Dyken never disappoints and this is one of my top reads this year. I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved this book and I absolutely cannot wait to see what Rachel will be writing next. I can't wait to see what is in store.

This was even better than the parent's series. This was the true example of what love is. Such a fine line between love and hate. This was a bumpy ride for a plethora of reasons. It was great to see how the author was able to make this such a unique start to generation two while still including the originals without making it seem old. If id never read the stories about the parents, I still would have not been lost. That takes skill.
This book set up the future well was fresh and exciting and was the perfect amount of story with steam-filled angst. Junior and Serena, we're perfect.

Could this get any better? I think not. Rachel Van Dyken has outdone herself with this new series of the Eagle Elite children. And Holy Crap is it ever wonderful. I wasn't sure what to expect from the kids, but this was certainly not on my list. These kids are just as blood hungry as their parents. When you think you've got it all figured out, just WAIT!!!
Estuvo bien, son varios personajes así que tienes que aprenderte los nombres y la familia. Algunas veces me perdía con tantos nombres pero estuvo bien. El inglés no es difícil en este libro así que se lo sugiero a las personas que quieren leer en inglés.
