A total hoot! I completely get why the kids love this series and we never have a book on the shelf.

By the author of Captain Underpants, it's more laugh out loud funny and a lot less gross.

The Dog Mans all kind of blur together at some point. I know I read this whole thing with Will. But I can't remember exactly what happened in it.

In this third installment: Petey's plan backfires when he winds up with a cute kitten instead of an evil clone, a fishy foe returns, and readers learn a valuable lesson about found family.

It was really dumb. It was also a bit funny. I feel like I was in the head of a fifth grade boy for the time it took me to read it. But it was an enjoyable minute or few.

Popular with readers aged 6+, the Dog Man graphic novel series offers a good blend of text and comic style illustrations, with additional interactive elements (flioprama and how to draw pages) that increase childrens' engagement and enjoyment of each book. This particular edition focuses on DogMan battling an old foe and introduces a new core character 'Cat Kid'. As a teacher I appreciate the effort made to make the stories humorous and accessible for all levels of reader, I can understand why they never stay on the shelves of the library for long!

A wonderful, juvenile rendition of a Dicken's classic.

I love these books! They are so much fun. Nice, simple reads that are fast-paced and entertaining. Perfect for reluctant readers and bookworms alike.

As with the previous books, the story is so ridiculous and hilarious. It was great to see some character growth with Petey in this one and I absolutely adored Li'l Petey. The artwork is simple yet engaging. The colors really pull the reader in.

Puns, mayhem, sentient buildings, and Li'l Petey's adorable face; there is so much to love about the third installment of the Dog Man series.

I have the boxed set of the first three books and I'm a bit sad to have read through them all already. I will have to hunt down the rest of the books soon. I love going on adventures with Dog Man and friends. Can't wait to read the fourth book.
