I liked this book and the plot. I liked how Colleen chose to present the characters, and how she chose to reveal things later on. The POV switch gave insight into how the other person was feeling, and I liked that I could see things from two perspectives,

and how gradually, they seemed to come together as Kenna and Ledger fell in love.

I thought that the book was pretty slow. I wish she would have put a sub-plot in, because the main plot wasn’t quite enough for me to keep it interesting. It did get better in the end, but I thought the ending was predictable. Overall, great book, but not her best. I would compre it to “Layla”.

My favourite Colleen Hoover book that I’ve read (so far!). I was unexpectedly disappointed with It Ends With Us and so surprised with how much I loved this book! The plot hooked me straight away and I loved Kenna, Ledger and little Diem. The ending did make me well up but I won’t give anything away! Definitely one to read and one I’ll probably end up re-reading.

The book started very slow and i was not very into it but the last 100 pages changed everything. I got really invested and hooked on the storyline. 
The end was wonderful and i even cried a little bit.

This book had a lot more substance compared to other CoHo books. I enjoyed the development of the story, and the progression flowed well with the emotional exploration of the characters

this was so good! read it in three days and i’ve never been so blown away. i’m not into prison stories and this was so encapsulating and mind bending and again, not much for tattooed guys, but ledger has my heart. amazing and would read again!!
