This book was good, but something I can’t pinpoint stopped it from being fantastic. The age difference (37 and 25) doesn’t really seem like a big deal and overall, the hero is super sweet and wonderful.

I thought I was going to like this more than I actually did. The beginning was really fun. I laughed out loud and was really enjoying the texts between Ford and Val. As the story went on, I was slowly losing interest. It just wasn't as interesting anymore. I added this book to my TBR after reading another forbidden romance with an age gap and a lot of people preferred this one. I can see why, but I think I like the setting of the other one (The Forbidden Man.)
Things I did like: how persistent Ford was. For the most part, he didn't give up. I liked the texts between the two. It was hot and hilarious at the same time. I also liked the ending. It was a nice way to wrap everything up, and I'm happy they managed to conceive. And now I'm trying to find the things I really really liked, but I can't think of anything else that stood out.
At first, I thought the smut was good. But after, it kinda just blended with all the other contemporary romance books I've read. I'm also surprised that her son wasn't as present. I thought he would play a bigger role or be around more often, but nope.
Overall, it was a good time, but I probably won't be rereading.

What a fun, smut-fantastic, quick super enjoyable book! The chemistry between Valentina and Ford was fucking fantastic. I definitely loved their story but also the important lessons about not giving a fuck what people think or say, do what makes you happy folks we only have one life to live!

I want to say that this has to be one of the best age gap relationship I have ever read in a book.

I enjoyed it overall but it took a little while for me to really believe in their chemistry and relationship. I think I need to stop listening to Vi and Penelope's books on audio..a lot of them kinda feel flat and the same to me, but I think it's because 99% of the time they use Andi & Sebastian. Don't get me wrong, they are amazing at what they do, but they just don't fit the characters every time and it makes it harder personally to differentiate between their stories. For example, Ford was supposed to be 25.  Y'all know that Sebastian sounds closer to 50.  No matter how good of a narrator he is, he just doesn't fit youthful characters anymore. It detracts from the actual story for me. (too bad I already have like 5 more of Vi & Pen's unlistened books in my Audible library lol).
