This was a fun, steamy romance!
Valentina is a late thirties woman trying to move on after getting divorced from her high school sweetheart when she runs into Ford, a twenty five year old hotshot she hasn't seen for a decade. I liked that Ford was immediately into Valentina and wanted more than just a fling. He truly cared for her and tried so hard to show her how much he wanted her. Valentina drug her feet and I feel like this could have been title 'Inappropriate' instead of Vi's other book. I wanted Vi to get over her fears that other people would judge her and let herself have a good romance.
The ending was cute and the narrators are my favorites. This was quick and had some nice romantic scenes.

4.5 stars! This was cute and sweet—I love books with age differences—especially when it’s reversed!
”Age is just a number to use to count all the years I’m going to love you.”
4 stars. This was so ridiculously good. I love a good age gap romance, bonus points for Older woman/Younger man since those seem to be the Unicorns of the genre and this was done really well.
The angst was really low level but there was still some feels to be had. Ford makes some discoveries that kinda shake him up and Valentina is still trying to just cope with her divorce and those feelings felt real and authentic. So did the characters. I loved Ford and Valentina a lot. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and I thought they both went through some fantastic development. I loved them as a couple and I loved them as individuals. Valentina is cautious and a bit closed off and Ford throws caution to the wind and likes to go with the flow. It made for some interesting dynamics between the two and I thought they were both likable and charming.
The ending was great and didn’t feel too over done or drawn out. It wrapped up when it needed to and the epilogue was really sweet and adorable.
Did I mention that Vi Keeland’s writing is great as well? I feel like that goes without saying but I thought I should mention it anyways. It’s very easy to get sucked into her stories. And so far her heroes have not let me down at all.
Overall, I really loved this one and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something on the lighter side with great characters and a swoon worthy romance.

All Grown Up is a hot, and very sweet romance where the heroine is 12 years older than the hero. That alone made enjoy it - but also because it showed for real that age truly is just a number!

This book is exactly why Vi Keeland is an auto-buy author for me now. There wasn't as much angst at the separation as some of the books in the past have had, but this is still a very satisfying read. Valentina is working her way out of the emotional hole her divorce has left her in. She has a very supportive friend that is nudging her out of her comfort zone. Her friend isn't pushing her to the point that Val is resentful, but reminding her that she doesn't want to be stuck like she was in her marriage. Her friend, Eve, very helpfully sets up a Match.com profile for her but holds back on making it public. Val takes that leap on her own and that's how she meets Ford and their relationship begins. Ms. Keeland hit all the right notes with their texting conversations at the beginning. You could feel the giddiness of the conversation. The age separation was more of an issue for Val than Ford. I was equal parts interested and irritated by Val's hesitation over the age difference. The reconciliation was perfect. I loved how Ford won her over by seeing her and appreciating her as she was.
It's not really 4 stars but it deserves to be rounded up, if only because of all the feels it gave me. It also felt a lot different than other books that I read by this author, which is great, as usually her characters seem kind of interchangeable, only put in a different setting. Here, we get a genuine, heart-warming and sexy romance.
Both Val and Ford are going through a journey here and I loved every second of it, even the inevitable split/misunderstanding part. Most of the time, it's something totally avoidable and unnecessary, to raise the stakes before the couple gets together in the end. In this story though, I found it believable. What Ford learns of his family is something that could definitely cause a crisis and change one's outlook at life. So when that leads to him pulling away from Val, it's actually understandable.
The book also touches upon struggles and reality of older woman-younger man relationship, showing that, while age (in most cases) is indeed just a number, there are some aspects that might be difficult (although not impossible) to overcome. Like "you used to babysit my son as a teenager" or "you get ID'ed when we got out to get a drink".
Anyway, while this book wasn't perfectly-written or anything, I got so engrossed in it that I would've read it in one go, if it weren't for the fact I needed to get at least an hour or two of that pesky thing called sleep before going to work. So the rounded-up 4 stars are for the enticing read, the feels and that giddy feeling you get when you read something cute and pure.
