Possible spoiler.
I had high hopes for this. It was a fast read and I wanted to DNF but wanted to see it through.
But
1: how many times can one go to a Starbucks? I mean, aren’t there any other coffee shops in NYC?
2: why are women the ‘bad guys’ here and not the actual bad guy?
3: must we bring in Trump into everything?
4: the other books from this author are now crossed off my TBR list.
5: not only one storyline from a Hitchcock movie (I know it’s a Highsmith book) but 2. One storyline was from a 1955 episode of Alfred Hitchcock presents called Revenge.
