I swear, Steve Cavanagh is the king of plot twists.
A page-turner full of completely unexpected twists that left me stunned.
Captivating and well-written.
The entertainment outweighed the unrealistic plot.
Did a great job at holding the suspense and tension of the different storylines before they finally interweaved in one of the big reveals.

Amanda and Wendy meet at a bereavement group; Amanda lost her family to a known predator, and Wendy's daughter was assaulted by her teacher. Both murderers walked free, and the women are, in their own way, planning their revenge. When one of them suggests they use the premise to Strangers on a Train as inspiration, their revenge might happen after all.
I was sure I had it all figured out by the 60% - 70% of the book. I mean, it was pretty much obvious by that point. However, I did not see the last twist coming, and though I am not as satisfied by the ending, I do think it was a reasonable way to end the story.
