I thought the idea of two parallel lives was very interesting and I guess the book was ok, but I found the characters so annoying I barely made it through. I had never found so many characters i disliked in one book.

I did enjoy this book but I was slightly disappointed as her other reads are all 4 and 5 stars for me. I think the point of the book was less about the actual romances themselves but the message of ‘ fate ‘ . The two different times lines were fun and I was surprised that she ended up with both Ethan and Henry in the different worlds . It showed how that one choice she made in chapter one impacted the rest of her life . I liked the message but i think it was to ovbious that she was trying to make the point like the repeated quotes of “ everything that happens is meant to be “ got old very quick . I wasn’t invested in any of the romances really but I did like Henry more . Overall I just don’t think contemporary romances are my faveroute genre and I will just read taylor Jenkins Reid’s newer books .

4-Satisfying Sliding Doors story with pretty short back and forth chapters with 2 different realities.

Would you rather have a baby (accidental pregnancy by a married man who will not be in the picture) or be in a terrible accident (from which you will reasonably recover)? Fall back in love with your high school sweetheart (who seems a little flighty) or your nurse (who has his shit together) Pretty easy choices for me, I gotta say. Also I don’t really subscribe to everything happens for a reason.

I suspect this would be better read as a physcial book rather than an audio book

An enjoyable, easy read of love and loss exploring one moment that changed a life and set a new path. Lost me a little bit towards the end, which felt quite hurried but otherwise good.
