I enjoyed this fourth book in the series just as much as I enjoyed the first (possibly even more?). Some of the tropes featured in the second and third books weren't really for me but this one delivered. We got to see another new location, learn about more of the alien world and the romance was a slow burn, angsty, almost forbidden love. I can't stop bingeing this series, and I'm so excited that the next one is Vanessa and Fejo's book finally!

Fake alien fiancé? I’m here for it. Book 4 in the Clecanian Series was great, might be my fave so far. Again, loved seeing more of Clecania and learning about the different aliens that live there. Enjoyed seeing Auzed open up from the character we’d been introduced to in previous books and getting more Alex after her brief stint in the last book. Loving this whole series, especially seeing Theo’s brothers finding love with the humans.
It might be a tie between Auzed and Theo for who was favorite. I'm a sucker for a good Grumpy X Sunshine trope and this has definitely got that. Everything felt super organic in the way the book progressed. The tension between Auzed and Alex gave a slow burn feel in not a slow burn amount of time. I'm really enjoying this whole series and I'm glad I found it.
