I really liked learning the other half of the Lily/Alex survival journey. It felt like the author completed that loop and developed the world a bit more. The romance between Alex and Auzed was cute. I love a good, grumpy MMC.

Not as good as the first book but better than the 2nd and 3rd. Auzed was infuriating but so real. This couple was the most realistic of the first 4.
Some people think Alex was selfish but I don't see it. However, I think Auzed was. In the beginning he was putting his life and carrier first and accused her of risking to F it all for himself even though she was kidnapped from her own planet ? Then he expected her to adapt to their culture in a matter of days and was surprise that she would want to go back to her planet and family if it was possible ?

These two!!!

I swear I was going to lose my mind when it came to these two! This is my favorite couple yet. This combined a few of my favorite tropes into one and I loved how it was done. I’ll never read fake fiancé the same after this. Sooooo good!!! You really get to know more about the world and the different peoples that inhabit it, the cultures, and the animals in this one. It was really cool to see what was happening simultaneously between Alice and Lily’s books. This ties everything together nicely and sets up for some great storytelling in the future. I can’t wait for what’s next!

do i … have a new favorite alien boyfriend …… AND HE’S BLONDE?!?!?!?!

ok, that’s bold, because theo truly will always have my heart, but auzzy is a close second. a close second.

this was absolutely gorgeous, for all that it’s essentially a smutty alien romance — we get to see more of clecania: a forest kingdom, with cute woodsy animals who bond with you, men with tails, and sexy alien gladiator games.

this book tells alejandra’s story, after she loses lily in the clecanian woods after a near-drowning. she’s nursed back to health by the cutest little alien creature, and eventually found by auzed, who was sent by the queen to rescue the missing humans.

thus: forced proximity slow burn, replete with the most devastating third act breakup i’ve read in a WHILE. i was legitimately crying in the grocery store listening to this one.

this is one of the best ones in the series for me so far. for wilson, for the treehouse of my dreams, and for the heartwarming tale of love and sacrifice. and the big d*cked alien. can’t forget him.

Auzed & Alex

I think this was one of the more emotionally gripping books of the series in the sense that a lot of it focused on the couples' emotional bonding with each other. There wasn't much action or intrigue at all in this book and it was a bit slow and boring at times....but it still gripped me. It held my attention and curiosity because I wanted to see how it would all end. I commend the author because she manages to make each story, while similar in premise, it is unique in execution. Pretty cute story overall!

cute and entertaining

These books are the perfect little comfort reads. Short, adorable plot and spice. Auzzy is just a big marshmallow and I loved him.
