Least favorite of the series for personal reasons, probably because of the first-person narrative and I missed Snufkin and Moomintroll! But it was very interesting to see the parallels between Moominpapa and his son, and the way he exaggerates his life. Still a very fun read, love the Moomins!

I love this as an animated version and I loved this too. The ending was so amazing in this book. I loved how Snufkin and Sniff got to meet their parents at the end and Frederickson and the ghost were there too. It was so heartwarming because in the animated version they did not meet.
