Yes I work in a library, so this was right up my street. But this is hilarious. My colleague is reading it next to me now and chortling away. Short but genius.

As advertised, book of strange retail interactions in bookshops.

Some of these interactions really had me laughing, and I swear some of them had to be jokes on the employees.

Customer: Do you have any crime books about speeding tickets?

I guess I've never really thought about crime books in that way...

Others... were just really sad and said more about humanity than I could ever put into words.

Customer: Do you have a book with a photograph of Jesus in it? I want to prove to my friend that he was white.

The book was really short (or just really quick to read, since it was mostly dialogue).  It was lighthearted and fun most of the time, sad and disheartening at others, but all in all an interesting read.

I liked the idea behind this and I chuckled quite a bit but a) this book (or twitter feed, I guess) is far from memorable yet, again, really funny and b) I thought some of the situations were kind of… mean? I don’t know.

12. A book about reading, books or an author/writer

"Do you have any books by Jane Eyre?

If that line wasn't funny enough for you to read this book then you have a strange sense of humor. Lol

This book summed up every weird and hilarious remarks of people who are not as well read as others. There's this customer who asked if Anne Frank wrote a sequel to her diary which received a huge amount of silence from the bookseller. Lol some remarks were rude and offensive but I salute those booksellers who handled those situations expertly.
I enjoyed this book, it was a short and funny read. I just loved every single bit of Jen Campbell's book. Definitely gonna read the sequel. There's not much to say so 3.5 out of 5 stars :)
