the ending twist... OH YES GAWDDDDDDD. i took a 3 month hiatus after reading 1/3 of the book, but picked it back up and finished it in a day or two. the ending was that good.

a great book. unlike the first in this series- i did not figure out the mystery quickly, something i love. the characters are still as well written and this was a greaaat book.

I legitimately stared into the void for about 5 minutes after I read the ending because, oh my god I did not see that coming. Besides that, this was a very quick and interesting read, and one thing that's certain is that I am now hooked on Karen M. McManus' writing.
Did I wish things went differently between certain characters? Yea, sure, but that's alright.
All in all, really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next installment in the series.
