I hated this book. I get that humanity is terrible but there didn’t seem to be any silver lining or moral to the story.

Why weren’t there any female masters?

I didn’t appreciate the crude descriptions of sex or mounting.

My favorite book of all time. In a genre of its own, this book is thought provoking and different in ways that are wonderfully canine and surprisingly humanistic!
It’s short but not always sweet, such an interesting take on man and our influence on our “best friend.” This book makes me cry and laugh and wish to see the world in new lenses. It’s got a touch of Greek mythology, but that’s mainly used as a plot device. It’s written well and I love it so much!
