A nice book that leaves you contemplating death. Majnoun is my favorite, but I think it makes sense that Price was the one who died happy, since he was romanticizing life. Loved that he was rewarded in the end
This book is an incredible concept and an interesting read. At the same time, it is very sad. Its portrayal of human nature is bleak. It is not an optimist's view on people, which sometimes I found tough to read, but it really forced me to think about the world. The book is fascinating, and I did enjoy it, even though I cried through almost the whole thing. I would not consider this a "light read".

I couldn't even finish this book, despite getting so close to the end.
It was not enjoyable for me. It felt like it was actually written by dogs. Felt unnecessarily crass and like it was trying so hard to be insightful and fell short in any war for me. None of the characters were interesting or worth learning about.
