Hilarious scenes of little blue men headbutting anything that gets in their way. Darling Husband re-read it aloud while we were in the hospital for our daughter's birth. Nothing to cut through pain-meds like a really bad Scottish accent, and the expectation that nurses are giving your room REALLY odd looks.

Uno dei libri per ragazzi più belli che io ricordi di aver letto, non vedo l'ora di recuperare altro dell'autore.

I "read" this by listening to the audio book - Stephen Briggs's voices for the characters were great, much better than I could have produced in my head. And of course, Pratchett's world is imaginatively created, and entertaining.

I wish I had read more Discworld novels in my younger years, but I'm trying to make up for lost time now.

This is the first book in the Tiffany Aching series and it was funny, bittersweet, and a good read. I can't wait to read the rest of her arc and meet the other denizens of Discworld.
