Bisher der beste Ahern-Roman. Fantasy-Ansätze, eine glaubhafte Hauptfigur und eine schöne, wenn auch nicht perfekte Romanze.
The timing of this book might have influenced the rating but that’s what books are meant to do in all fairness. While the surreal element could have been explored much further the simplistic message shines through and keeps the book moving. The book is fast paced and light hearted while telling so many home truths about how we treat our own lives. I loved the physicality of lucys life and their dynamic and found it entirely relatable and a satisfying and motivational story.

Weird, but lovely. It's not your every day rom-com. It is a story how a girl falls in love with herself.
Dear god this was awful. I hated having first person narration from a pathological liar. It is so hard to be invested in a story when half the exposition is a lie. If I have to read “Okay, that was a lie” ONE MORE TIME, I’m gonna throw the book across the room. I was hopeful for the setup—I thought once she met her Life, it would be like an Ebenezer Scrooge journey through everything. But then she bailed on him and went back home? I just knew I couldn’t slog through more pages of her being awful and avoiding her problems, so I’m giving up.
well its 2.5 or 3 I cant still decide upon the rating I can give this book.
Life has a way of getting what it wants when it really knows what it wants.
This was a cute and fun read which kept me hooked throughout. It wrapped up all the threads it unravelled quite beautifully.
Plus, her first appointment was on 30th May. So bonus points.

Cecelia Ahern's plots are always different from other chick-lits, and I usually like them. But I didn't like this one. It may have started well, but felt really unstructured in the middle. The ending was hurried and not at all appropriate.
Quirky, unrealistic, slightly strange - AMAZING! Loved it! Such a fun read that believe it or not will make you think about your own life and possibly "audit" it! 2nd Ahern book I've read; can't wait to read more.
