Beautiful and funny

Never have I analysed my own life so much than when I was reading this book!
This book is just one big abstract metaphor for looking after you life and I loved it!
It was heart-warming and funny in all the right places and beautifully written.

The only reason it didn't get 5*s is because it didn't WOW me, I would have liked a little more mystery and a tiny bit more comedy.

But that's me, I'm fussy! Absolutely loved Cosmo, he had my exact sense of humour and sarcasm, I wish I could be friends with him!

I read this book some months ago so my recalling of the book is a little hazy. But I actually fell in love with this book and couldn't put it down. I actually laced in bed for hours reading this. While I know there are mixed reviews on this book to me this was a book well worth reading. I loved the story line and actually related to the main character. Receiving a letter from your life seems like such an odd thing but that is what happened. Her liked got inconstant with her because after her boyfriend leaving her and getting fired from her job and her dad making her feel like she would never be good enough she became stuck in a rut. She ignored her life for awhile until one day she finally decided to go check it out. Her life helped her face the things in her life she did not want to and to admit her life was not fine like she kept telling everyone. This book is defiantly a must read and I look forward to reading more books by cecelia Ahern.

Rating: 3

Imagine a human representation of your life whose well-being depends on the quality of life you are actually living.

I loved the concept. It will be amazing to meet my life in person.

However, the book was unnecessarily over-exaggerated. The second half was predictable which took out the fun.

By the end, I was just waiting for it to finish.

I hated Lucy as I first started The book, but as i read on muy opinion of her changad, i guess that was The intention of The autor, i love Cecelia Ahern

I really enjoyed this one, a long read but in my eyes worth it.

Easy read, good reminder to pay attention to your life.

If your life were a person, what would he/she look like? Lucy's is a dowdy, middle-aged old man with a cold working out of a depressing, impersonal office who she would much rather ignore. I thought the concept of this book was really original, and the writing was funny and light. A book about having the courage to be vulnerable and make changes after being stuck in a rut.
