I'm so sad. I wanted this to be so many different things but it fell flat. The beginning dragged out and Cia's thought process was described but was extremely repetitive. The ending was so so so rushed. All the big reveals were done in the last 30 pages and I wish they had been explored more. The very end wasn't very satisfying. I think this book had a lot of great set up in the first two books and could have done so much but in the end it failed to do so.

I am not sure I have ever given a one star rating before. This was just so bad. So much talking waiting around and discussing every possibility. Just avoid this series completely or stop after the first book.
It was pretty good resolution and most of my questions are answered. The plot is good the characters aren’t.
This book was good in a lot of ways, but also not entirely satisfying.
I feel like the whole ending just became a bit complicated and I wasn't happy that she didn't just kill the President or something? If she was the one who was rooting for all the crappy stuff that goes down in this book, why would it be okay for her to just walk away? Why would anyone just hope that she would keep her word? I don't think her "word" can mean much if she's that fucked up.
As a whole, this series was good though and I'm glad I read it.

Very tense and dark book to end the series. We got to see another part of cia. I loved reading about the relationships she build up with the others and the trust she did or did not put in them. I am sad this is the last part of the trilogy; I would have loved to read another book about how all the characters in this book heal, recall the events occurring in this second book and how they get on in live.
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Murder
I'm just going to review all 3 books here instead of individually because there is nothing special to share about this series. The first one I really didn't care for but I read the last two because I was curious to see them progress and just rented them from the library. After finishing these books I can honestly tell you they were the least creative, most formulaic books I've read in 2015. Heck...even 2014. Let's be honest, Hunger Games set the stage with Y.A. Dystopian literature, so it's hard not to correlate books of a similar genre to them. However, this series felt like a cheap knock off version of Hunger Games that I might find at a dollar store. This is like a fan-fic gone wrong and I did not enjoy them. The events and characters were just too fantastical. The main character knew everything, could solve everything, and was bloody damn perfect in every which way. There are just many things wrong with the writing style, plot, characters, structure, etc. that I really can't recommend them at to anyone.
