Maize and Gavin’s story has been coming for a while now and I am very pleased with how their story turned out. We got to see some breadcrumbs in the previous books, so we already know both characters a little. Gavin is a retired bull rider. He moved on to the Circle B ranch to train horses. Maize is the cook at the bed and breakfast. They met at a bar and had a one night stand. But when she finds out that Gavin works for the family ranch. Maize all of the sudden doesn’t remember him. I loved how Gavin fought for Maize from the get go, but he also didn’t give in to her so quickly or easily when she realizes her feelings. Maize is so stubborn and it was fun to see them together. I loved their story. It was sweet, steamy, and kind of angsty.

I love Gavin and Maize so much! It was fun getting back to Circle B Ranch and getting to know their story. The chemistry between these two was hot! Gavin might just be my new book boyfriend.

the constant time jumps killed this book for me, I think it had so much potential only for it to never feel satisfying to read because all the development character and relationship wise was skipped over
