Small-town romance at it's best! Wrangling the Cowboy makes me wish I worked on a ranch, or at least lived next door to one, so I could ask for some sugar. *Wink, wink* Kennedy Fox always knows how to rope me in to their cowboy romances, pun intended. With secondary characters that you'll fall for just as much as the main ones, you'll be left counting down the days until the next book in the Circle B Ranch series releases! The audiobook brings the characters to life with the wonderful narration, don't miss the chance to swoon over Maize and Gavin in this thrilling addition to the series.

I loved Maize as a main character. She’s stubborn and frustrating at times, but I really connected with her. The whole pushing people away before they can push you away thing is definitely me. As I’m working through some of those things, this book helped. Loved this one so much!
It has been a hot minute since I’ve been with the Bishop family and let me just say this, it was so amazing and fun being back on the ranch. Granted the only book I’ve read is Needing Him but oh man the lasting impression this family leaves will warm your heart. This large family loves unconditionally. They know how to work hard and play harder. Well anyways in this spin off series of the Bishop brothers quartet, the kids are all grown up and this book is about the lovely 24 almost 25 year old Maize. She is the head chef/cook for her family’s B&B on the ranch. She is in charge of planning weekly menus and making sure all guests and ranch hands are fed. She is also a walking definition of “once bitten, twice shy”. She has been burned in the past when she fell in love with a cowboy and he left. Enter 35 year old retired bull rider Gavin. They meet at a bar, they hit it off, and then they hit the sheets. Come morning, Maize is gone and Gavin is left dumbfounded. Little do they know that Gavin is the new cowboy her family has hired to help with the horses. What follows is a bunch of denial on Maize’s part and hot as hell flirting on Gavin’s part. I loved this book so much. Kennedy Fox knows how to write fast paced cowboy romances. Seriously no one writes them like Kennedy Fox.

A quick and easy book. I just didn't understand why she was acting like she didn't know him from the start it didn't make sense, she was acting very immature. I did think Gavin was a great hero, very persistent and sweet.
If there ever comes a day when I don't love a Kennedy Fox book, I think it will be the actual end of the world.
Wrangling the Cowboy follows Gavin, a former bull rider, and Maize. They first meet at a bar and have a one night stand. Maize thinks she'll never see him again... but now he works at her family's ranch. She can only avoid him for so long, and Gavin is tired of waiting for her to admit she still wants him as much as he wants her.
I loved this one. Maize is stubborn and Gavin fights hard to win her over. I liked that he let her chase him too. There's lots of steam, sweetness, and a touch of angst. Which comes together in an excellent romance.
As with most of the Kennedy Fox world, this book exists as a standalone, but is connected to the rest of the Circle B Ranch books. You don't need to have read the others, but if you have, you'll get to see familiar characters come back.
If you're a romance fan, especially a western/cowboy romance fan- you need to check this one out!

I absolutely love the Bishop series both the Bishop brothers and the Circle B Ranch stories.
This one doesn't disappoint, We learn about John and Mila's daughter Maize she's a head cook at the B&B with dreams of starting her own catering business.
Gavin a champion bull rider is ready to settling down in one place he gets a job at Circle B Ranch training the horses. He can't get the women that he had a one night stand with out of his mind, till one morning having breakfast at the B&B when he comes face to face with Maize who wants nothing to do with him.
This was a one sitting loving, funny and steamy story I can't wait to read more from them.

Oh my goodness! This may have just become my new favorite from Kennedy Fox! Gavin and Maize's story was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. I have been looking forward to this since Diesel and Rowan's story. I DEVOURED this book as soon as I got it.
From their first encounter to the last chapter this book had everything just right! The age gap and the angst kept things HOT!
These two were fun to read when Maize was playing like she had amnesia and hot when they stopped playing games.
While you don't have to read the series to enjoy each book, the previous books tend to tease the characters that haven't had their stories told. Just like I was hooked on Gavin and Maize before I even read their story, I can't wait to get my hands on Bossing the Cowboy.
