How do I rate this? Everyone seems to like it, but it kinda falls flat for me. Fable, Willa and Saint are the only characters I'm interested in; West's personality seems underdeveloped, and the romance is just... what's the point?

The pacing is quite slow, and a lot feels like filler chapters and skippable characters. It took me halfway through the book to get just *mildly* interested, and at the end I simply couldn't care more about what happens to the Marigold's crew. I wouldn't actively seek out the next book, but perhaps I would read it if I happen to see it in the library.
