I agree with everyone else when they say the world in this book was beautifully described. I think that was the main reason why I listened to this audiobook so fast. After it was done, I did wonder if the actual plot was a little weak? However, the descriptions and the characters do make up for it and makes this story definitely one people should read.
Good YA book. A little predictable in pattern of any ya book, but still has some surprises. It does just end... like randomly. Also somethings that feel like they should be bigger plot points are rushed through to lead to the strange ending.

A thoroughly enjoyable novel. YA hasn’t been my fav genre lately, but I was entertained and not annoyed reading this book. No unnecessary drama which I’m grateful for. Didn’t love the narrator at first, but she grew on me. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
