I loved this book. Darcy is in high school and works at a local bookstore. She reads all the time and can recite books from memory. But she has a secret. What she doesn't show or tell other people is that her mother is a hoarder and that inside their home is stuff--boxes, tubs, stuff....everywhere. There is a great best friend and a romance with a boy named Asher that finally gets Darcy to take control of her life.
I finished it, which is really all I can say. I wanted to enjoy the romance, but it was so slow that it didn't really start until the end of the book, nearly. I enjoyed the last 60 pages, but the 270 that came before it, not so much.
This would have to be one of my favorite book!
There’s sooo many hidden message within the book and it makes think and use those messages in your daily life.
The romance is slow but you definitely feel it.
This book made me want to read classics and made me want to be in the moment but at the same be stuck in a story.
Totally recommend!

This book was hard to relate to being a YA/NA age book- but part of the main character just screamed to me. I am so glad I gave it a shot because this book had me confronting my own truths.
Beautifully written. Easy to read. Love the quirks. Love the relationships and growth. Definitely recommend
