I really liked the story, but it was really quite slow. Which is not weird because it was originally written as one big story. For the same reason, the end is not very satisfying because it was never meant to be any end. It explains and world builds a lot, which can sometimes be tiring. But I still want to know what happens next.

A very engaging and interesting story, but let down a little bit by the writing style. The prose comes off as a little under-edited and amateur. Still a page-turner though!

When I started reading I thought I will not finish. I thought there was no point. First I hated the main character, then there was the info dump... I'm so glad I continued! This turned out to be one of the best books of this year for me. It's absolutely incredible! By the end I wholeheartedly love the entire cast, plot and worldbuilding. I can not wait to see how the story unfolds in next books.
