For this first time in my life, the track of friends to lovers appealed to me. I think it’s because the author places it in such an organic manner where I am not mad if they are not end game.

I’ve kept this in my notes while reading this but boys, men and gentledudes; the bar is in hell but this is how you treat your female friends. This is the kind of support you give to them.

ANASHIN DOES IT AGAIN!

I have been putting off reading this and I don't know why! At least now I have more to binge read...

I really really loved Harumatsu Bokura, but I really love the fact that the characters in Unmei no Hito ni Deau Hanashi are in University!!!

It's meeting all of my cozy shoujo requirements. Yuuki is adorkable. Iori is the manga ML of my dreams. And together they are so cute. I don't typically like a love triangle, but I'm excited to explore this one. Although I do NOT trust Seno.

Iori is endgame for me.

I saw someone post a meme about this that just about summarizes the other love interest:

doesn't seem like there's gonna be good characterization. the covers make it look so cool with maybe a more modern cool girl mc, but she seems like the same old self-insert bland girl. the ml while seems to be a great guy, his only personality and job so far has been to be there for mc amongst her quest to find her "destiny" and in turn show her and us that he's the ideal man she's prob looking for. it's so on the nose how the other men are just there to steer drama or toxic while he's doing it just right. no personality or depth so far.

maybe their relationship is one that's very cute and healthy but that doesn't matter to me if i constantly feel like i'm reading something that's supposed to be a self-insert with characters idc at all, rather than getting lost in their relationship like i did with Ima Koi. while it's a good era in shoujo manga, not every author knows how to write a plot or characters.
