I'm a massive fan Geena Davis as an actress and just as the kickass human being she is, so I came into this predisposed to love it. I'm glad to say that not only did it not disappoint, I laughed out loud several times and walked away with an even greater appreciation of her movies.
It's not a celebrity tell-all and there aren't any major truth bombs dropped, and that might just be why I enjoyed it as much as I did and why I continue to look up to Davis as one very classy lady.

LOVE! I have now watched several of her movies again and Geena is indeed a BadAss!!!! I have declared my 40s will be my Geena Davis 40s. If she can be sweetness and light and a BADASS, then I too want to get better with age.
Would recommend to anyone that likes to leave a book with that, Fuck Yeah, Women! vibe.

She’s funny! Did we know she is funny?

This is a great book about the challenges of being a woman in a professional setting and in relationships. This book tackles these issues with matter-of-fact perspectives and actions. There is no trauma-dumping here!

I will be recommending this book for my women’s committee Book Club.

It was good to hear about the ways Geena Davis has impacted feminism/gender roles in her own way. I loved hearing the small snippets about the badass women she had as inspiration. I wish there was a bit more of that!
