The audiobook for this was phenomenal. For once in my life, I think it was actually better than reading it physically (and usually that's unheard of by me).
I felt emotional during some parts just from how well the actors were narrating their lines. This was incredible, and I still love AIDAN as a morally grey character. They are one of the memorable characters of all time thus making them one of my favourites.
I can't wait to pick the books up again and read them on audiobook now because wow! Beautifully done.

One of the few YA series I actually really enjoy. I think it is because AIDAN reminds me of a psychopathic version of the computer crossed with Data, both from Star Trek. I read it for the first time in 2018 to break up my Lord of the Rings binging, and I still look on it fondly, despite my reading tastes having changed drastically in only two years. I especially remember loving the discussions around morality in the trilogy, something this novella again shines in. I have been feeling rather sour towards YA so far this year, but Memento has perhaps changed that.
