Some of the conflict was repetitive and the characters would say they were going to do one thing only to do the opposite. Overall it was a good story.
DNF @ 23% jeez neither of these characters was likable and I would also run away if a large athletic man was screaming at me in a park. What kind of MIL tells a girl to get over it and go back there when strangers are concerned?!

The writing is stilted, the characters unlikable, and the story exhausting. There are way better hockey and sport romances out there from dark to rom-com. Save your time, if not your money.

| This was an okay listen. There were some plot points that seemed off, but overall, I liked the characters and their journey
i just didn't feel it between the two MCs.
the premise for how they found out paternity was bizarre and felt highly unrealistic.
the FMC was a joke, she sought out the MMC and then controlled every aspect of how he engaged with the kids, like she didn't want him to be apart of it. why bother.
