I really like this series and I love these brothers. They're all pretty sure of themselves. I like my men with a little more modesty. Wyatt makes up for it by being constant and supportive.
Didn't love the "Make me a hot girl" storyline only because Hannah said "hot girl" like 100 times and it got a little annoying. All for her finding her inner and outer hot girl though.

i loved the first book so much that i absolutely had to continue with the series, which if you know me, is an anomaly. i rarely continue series, nevertheless, binge read them, but this series had a choke hold on me.
book 2 definitely falls into the sophomore slump category. book 1 and book 2 felt like they were written by two completely different authors. i'm so glad i saw someone count how many times "hot girl" and "bookworm" were used in the story bc it was super overdone. and the "professor" nickname threw me off but whatever gets you going.
while my gripes are kind of extreme, i do think that hannah is a super sweet love interest and it was cute watching her have her laney boggs moment. wyatt was interesting....not my favorite rhodes brother but i appreciate the effort lol
anyway i don't wanna deter people from reading this series bc i do really really love it and would recommend the series to anyone. just ignore the 945769045690456 bookworms and hot girl phrase, ok?

this was so cute omg! I loved how they both changed for each other (in a good way). I loved the side characters too and how they’re subtly featured. Hannah and Wyatt’s story is so cute. This also made me VERY emotional

I loved the concept of this book. Shy bookworm who owns a bookstore and a surfer guy fall in love in a small town. And I did really like that part. But the relationship, the way it progressed, and the repetitiveness made this book kinda a flop for me. Though it was easy and fast to read, I struggled to motivate to pick it up. The amount of spice in this book caught me off guard but I found the scene very cringe, repetitive and cliche. The 3rd act break up was stupid and was resolves in one chapter. While reading I started to question the romance genre for myself as a reader. I don't know how to articulate my thoughts well but I think if you're looking for a basic, quick romance with lots of steam this one has got you, but other than that I'd pass.

This was the perfect book to read on my beach vacay! When bookworm Hannah is feeling stuck in a rut approaching her 30th birthday, she decides to enlist Wyatt to help her become a “hot girl”. Little does she know, Wyatt already thinks she’s smoking. But, he’s willing to help her break out of her shell and become a new version of herself.
Along the way, the two become closer. The dynamic between the two was so fun to watch. Hannah lost some of her shy, and Wyatt was becoming reflective of what he wanted in life and his surfing career. The ending was so sweet, and I just loved the entire ride. 🥲🩷

The slow burn was so good, them both being scared was adorable i just thought it was rushed at the end a little bit

I love this troupe, devoured
So i fell off my board. I got water in my brain and thought a piece of seaweed was a great white shark. I tried something new today. That’s what hot girls did.

He will make her a hot girl but can he make her his girl? Shy quiet Hannah is surrounded by handsome, swoon-worthy men.. who are fictional. As her thirtieth birthday approaches she takes a look on her life and makes a list of accomplishments she wants to do before she reaches it. And she knows exactly who is going to help her. Wyatt is laid back, has all women swooning all over him and all he cares about is surfing. The only thing holding him back from going pro? His social media presence. When Hannah offers to run his social media in exchange for lessons to be a hot girl it’s too good to pass up. In the end will they get what they both wanted.. or will it all go wrong..
This was simply a really cute, smutty, funny story. I really loved Wyatt’s character, I really liked how laid back and chill his character was written and I really enjoyed how his sweet personality never changed throughout the book. Hannah’s character at the beginning was adorable I really liked the whole bookworm aspect and her shy personality, half way through though and I just wanted to strangle her, her attitude changed and I just couldn’t get over the way she treated Wyatt. However, I still really enjoyed this book and the series has been beautifully written so far, can’t wait to continue it!
